Abstract


Abstract. Elementary school students are the beginning of the formal education level for children aged 6/7 – 11/12 years. Elementary school teachers have an obligation to guide, direct and impart knowledge to students on aspects of cognitive development. Problems occur due to errors in teaching patterns that are less effective such as low reading and numeracy skills of students who are still relatively low. Due to limited study hours in schools, teachers are less effective in teaching calistung. The purpose of this study is to provide understanding to elementary school teachers, parents and students to increase student learning hours through AHE tutoring collaboration. This research methodology uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely naturalistic. This research is based on social phenomena in the AHE Elementary School and Tutoring environment in Cirebon. Primary subjects consisted of 1 AHE teacher, 1 elementary school teacher, secondary subjects consisted of 1 student's parents, 1 grade 1 elementary school student. The research site was in AHE, Greged village, Cirebon district. Collecting data by observation, interviews and documentation. Research technique with source triangulation. The results of the study explained that based on observations from 2022-2023 at AHE tutoring in Greged village, and interviews with the owner and AHE teacher for 6 months, it was known that the number of students since the establishment of the AHE tutoring institution in 2019-2023 was 100 elementary school students who had studied independently with books. teaching that has been provided. Students feel happy and enjoy learning. students have good effective reading skills and are able to count quickly. The development of AHE is now the target of elementary school students to improve reading, writing, and arithmetic skills by increasing students' talents, interests, and self-potential.
