Pemikiran Oposisi Nurcholish Madjid dalam Bingkai Politik Islam

Abstract


Kepiawaian, keberanian dan ketajaman intelektual yang dimiliki Nurcholish Madjid mampu merubah dan mendorong terbentuknya mekanisme ide kelembagaan oposisi melalui peran partai politik. Partai oposisi adalah wujud moderasi dari ide demokrasi pancasila yang mengakui hak warga negara dalam tatanan sistem pemerintahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan filsafat dan dalam teknik analisa menggunakan metode analisis hermeneutika kritis dan historis. Metode analisis kritis ini digunakan berangkat dari fakta bahwa objek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah gagasan atau ide manusia yang tertuang dalam bentuk naskah atau karangan seseorang. Metode historis adalah metode penelitian yang didasarkan kepada asumsi bahwa semua gagasan manusia selalu berkembang dan terdapat ketidaksempurnaan berupa kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa era orde baru mendominasi kekuasaan negara dengan platform pancasila mampu mengintervensi rakyat Indonesia selama tiga puluh dua tahun dibawah kepemimpinan presiden Soeharto. Kemantapan stabilitas sebagai ruang untuk menunjang pengembangan tatanan sosial politik dalam usaha demokrasi dan keadilan sosial bagi masyarakat hilang sebagai kekuatan pemantau dan penyeimbang dalam tatanan moderasi demokrasi. Sehingga demokrasi yang sehat harus melahirkan check and balance sebagai wujud kebebasan menyatakan pendapat, kebebasan akademik, kebebasan pers dan sebagainya.
